Cynthia Gay Rose is a Tubac Artist. She has painted for the last fifteen years and received a MFA Degree, BFA in 3D and 2D, a BA in French and a BA in Art History from the University of Arizona. She speaks French, Spanish, Portuguese, and English. Her work is in selected exhibitions and her paintings are in permanent collections in Mexico, Brazil and the United States. She has her own gallery in Tubac, Arizona, called Turquoise Angel Gallery. She donated a painting to a local charity group and the Olympian, Scott Hamilton bought the piece. She also was asked to do a commissioned piece for the Civil Secretary of the Army to the Clinton Administration. She donates her time and her art to many charity groups that focus on the needs of children. Her favorite charity group is SMA ( Spinal Muscular Atrophy).You will almost always see an angel in her paintings. Cynthia's art is very happy, spirited, and uplifting.
